Edward-Eastern Conference (n)
In today's post we are going to be talking about the Eastern Conference. The Eastern Conference looks to be very competitive this year as many teams have acquired key role players in the off-season. Along with trades many players have also returned from injuries last year that will have heavy impacts on there teams. The top team in the eastern conference coming into the season is the Miami Heat. Miami looks to 3-peat this year under the possible best player in the world Lebron James. My personal choice to win the eastern conference though is the Indiana Pacers. Indiana took the Heat to game 7 in the Eastern Conference finals last year making it a nail biting series for both fans.Indiana probably has the best duo in the NBA with Roy Hibbert manning the paint and all-star shooting guard Paul George. Paul George had a break out year last year and is now emerging as one of the best in the entire league. Indiana plays tremendous defense and has the scoring to be able to win the high scoring games as well. Another team to look out for is the Brooklyn Nets who recently acquired Paul Peirce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry from Boston. With new head coach Jason Kidd it will be interesting to see how they will do throughout the season. Also a major power to be among the Eastern Conference heavyweights will be the Chicago Bulls who finally get Derrick Rose back who missed all of last year with an ACL injury. The Eastern Conference will surely be something fun to watch this year and I'm excited to see how it all pans out.
